This is an ideally located and comfortable motel right in the heart of Tumut but it was still lovely and quiet. The proximity to the beautiful walks along the Tumut River and parklands is a definite plus. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Having a north facing balcony was definitely a bonus, overlooking the garden, pool and riverside precinct.

It’s a great, clean motel in the heart of Tumut. It’s Tumut! You don’t expect a stunning vista of the Himalayan Mountains or the sweeping plains of the Serengeti! It’s a fantastic little town in the Snowy Mountain foothills of Australia. We love it and return regularly.

Well maintained and central location. For the price, it was exceptional. Towels, bedding everything was new and well looked after. It was clean and there was a lovely outlook into the garden and hills from the balcony.

Fantastic location, on the main road but well set back so nice and quiet. Fantastic pub next door for a good feed and drinks, restaurants, cafes, Macca's all within a stroll.

Warm, comfortable welcoming room. Had everything I needed. Check in was seamless. There was a lovely outlook, we were close to the main street which was very convenient and yet the room was very quiet. I can't answer the question above about staff as I didn't meet any. Thank you for putting my friend and me in adjacent rooms and also allowing us a slightly later check out - much appreciated.

Great central location to pubs, restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Excellent self check in process, clear communication and instructions from hotel. Great parking. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Well stocked with crockery/cutlery, kettle, microwave etc Loved the rear balcony for a relaxing evening meal. Highly recommend

This was our second stay at Harriet House. We love the location, easy walk to the main street, local pubs and the river. Clean and tidy. The contactless check-in is seamless and convenient.

Lovely spacious and clean rooms. TV had Netflix as well as normal TV. Great shower, fridge plus plates/cutlery included which was useful for take away. Cafe downstairs was really nice and the pool looked nice, was a bit too cold to go in!

For a motel room it was surprisingly comfortable and felt very homely. lovely décor. Location was great as it was 100m walk to the main town area where we had pizza for dinner. Also a short walk down to the river and parklands. It was a cold winter's day and the air con was on and room warm when we arrived! No check in (or keys) necessary, just enter the code into the digital door lock. All very easy.
